In 2007, Dr. Chakraborty passed his MBBS graduation from Calcutta Medical College (Kolkata). Thereafter in 2011, he added the MS (Orthopaedic) degree from PGIMER (Chandigarh) followed by DNB (Orthopaedic) qualification from Kolkata University in 2012. Dr. Chakraborty served as a Registrar at PGIMER for a period of two years subsequent to which he joined Bombay Hospital where he was in medical service for a brief period of time. During this interval, Dr. Chakraborty undertook Fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery under the tutelage of Dr. Arvind Kulkarni and Dr. Vishal Kundnani, two highly esteemed pioneer doctors in the field of Minimal Invasive Spine surgery in India. Dr. Chakraborty is fellowship trained in India and abroad (UK/Germany) in various aspects of spine surgery and joint replacement.
A member of several esteemed medical bodies, Dr. Chakraborty has furnished several articles in publications and newspapers. Dr. Chakraborty presently conducts practice at Kalyani Seva Kendra, Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences and Sparsh Diagnostica Pvt. Ltd, all of which are located in Kolkata. He demonstrates high orthopaedic knowledge and skills in the management of Sports Injuries, Arthritis Management, Fracture Treatment, Joint Dislocation, Joint Pain and Orthopedic Surgery thereby getting patients back on their feet in an expeditious manner.
